I thought being swallowed up by that demonic fish/whale thing was a sign of failure, so it caught me off guard when it still happened during the actual exam, lol

Those ain't sharks...looks more like killer whales than anything but without the signature colors. Don't ask me what that thing was that swallowed Kana during the exam. ^^;

I like the touch of it still happening in the successful result lol, although the point in the song where it happened in their failures was at a different point than in the successful result. Anyway, nice to see the visualizations both in failure and success resemble each other somewhat.

I was surprised too, but it's a nice metaphor in a sense - reframing failure as a stepping stone to help you grow. Into a pretty butterfly.

It seems to be part of the challenge, giving voice to the truth of the fear the singer and/or patient might be feeling.

This was a really nice and realistic episode. I mean how the girls were arguing and each one was telling that the other two are better. This happens so much in real life (and to me to) - that we often can't see our own worth and our own strength and we keep looking at others and we might envy them, because we persuade ourselves that we are inferior to them for whatever reason.

The expulsion part was quite funny. I mean Ria just returned and was like: "Yo girls, I kinda forgot, you are expelled. Tee-he."

One thing to say about the bungee jumping part: "Did you know that bungee gum has properties of both rubber and gum?"

In any case - the next week we are gonna receive the last dose of our weekly "heal".

Probably the next step in getting the girls to become independent or something. Still kinda funny for Ria to suddenly thrust that upon them like that though. :P

As the saying goes: The grass is always greener on the other side. Glad they finally realized that all of them have their own good points and they are all the important experiences as healers. Still. I think the pacing was a bit too fast. I mean, they failed only twice (as is shown) and now they are dispirited. It would be better if they took time building up the scenario, IMO.

I chuckled every time seeing the girls get chomped by those sharks lol

Also, the sceneries in this episode are breath taking. I can stare at them all day long.

Well, we DID get a summer themed episode with the girls swimming at a lake. Why not a training arc? XD

I'm so happy to see my girls settle their jealous of each other and pass their exam!

Today’s episode has a really wonderful pacing where the moments don’t leave too soon or stay too long. Each training day ends on a button and it wastes no time propelling to the next beat of the plot. It needs this brisk yet purposeful pace so it can build the highs and lows throughout the episode, allowing the climax to hit that much harder once it oscillates all around.

A lot of the smaller tidbits from previous episodes (Kana’s dreams of becoming a barista, pro-wrestler, etc.) also came back which was a pleasant surprise! I always thought it was a little strange how they included those details but now they finally paid off dividends.

Speaking of clever, I liked how the shark attacks were incorporated into the final song, weaving throughout to showcase the girl’s accepting fear and jealousy into their life and overcoming them.

Also, Kana posing is hilarious.

Training camp? What, is this a sports anime, now? :P

I love a good training camp episode, especially when it’s for musical reasons.

Got some sad news for the anime community of English dub lovers and fans if his Billy Kametz died at the of 35 due to stage-4 collon cancer. Same VA that Noah mention some time ago who has done a lot of dubs from Demon Slayer to Shield Hero S1, even JoJo's Bizarre Adventures part 4 as Josukie.

We will miss him 🙏
